Another failure to adept Nicholas Sparks’ Novels

The Story:

John (Channing Tatum) is a soldier having his two weeks leave in his hometown, where he met Savannah (Amanda Seyfried), a college student visiting the town.

Although love was unexpected, it doesn’t mean they didn’t find it. With the knowledge of John having to leave for the army, their love still lives. While John is on duty, they keep writing letter to each other and maintain their feeling.

But when the 9/11 attack occurred, John has to re-enlist for at least another two years, and they have to be separated longer. Troubles invade and their love put on hold. One cannot bear it anymore; can the other?

Did you ever watch The Pacifier, the only family movie where Vin Diesel ever taking part in? In this movie Vin Diesel was playing as Navy Liutenant Shane Wolfe, who got an assignment to protect a scientist family who’s working on top-secret government project. Later, Shane finds out that the hardest part is not in taking care the evil who tried to endanger the family, but to handle the situation from the “little menaces”.

The scientist family has five children that Shane need to looking after, including two babies. The kids prove to be difficult to handle, even with the help of nanny Helga. Now, Shane has to face the greatest battle he ever encountered, put aside his gun and riffle and change it to Mothercare equipments as a weapon.

The Pacifier was directed by Adam Shankman and released in 2005. Although received many negative reviews by the critics, the movie itself was well received by audiences, produced about $115 millions from box office list. Besides Vin Diesel, this movie also starred by Lauren Graham, Brittany Snow, and Faith Ford.

The Story:
